And he mentioned how there were these open spaces, and the floors were paved. Josephus describes the Temple and the Temple Mount enclosure, where people would come from all over the world. And the reason I was interested in this is, there's this reference in Josephus that we were talking about. Nehemia: Yeah, so we're here at the Temple Mount Sifting Project where she works, and she's been showing me these different floors. She's reconstructed, or is working on reconstructing, floors from a bunch of sites in Israel, mostly from the Herodian period, but also from the Crusader period. As I was speaking to Frankie I realized the floor tiling of the 'House of Prayer for All Nations' was a picture of God's people.
